[SEOUL/WASHINGTON — Global News] The International Northern Ssireum Federation (INSF), a U.S. public nonprofit organization, in cooperation with the Danwoo Welfare Foundation, has officially entered a 12-day countdown for the ‘International Youth Day Commemorative Championship.’
Designed as an open, inclusive global festival, the championship welcomes participation from individuals and teams worldwide—regardless of whether they are connected through cultural divisions, international chapters, editorial boards, research networks, or joining independently. Aligned with the spirit of the UN-designated International Youth Day, the event highlights the power of traditional martial arts and physical culture in fostering youth empowerment, global solidarity, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Event organizers stated, “This championship transcends traditional sports to become a historic platform where global youth unite to respect shared cultural heritage and build a better future together.
