2018 UNESCO Representative List Ssireum (Northern Style) Afghanistan National Team Head Coach Master. Mohamed Elleboudy
(Reporter Kim Min-jeong)= The International Northern Ssireum Federation (INSF) has officially appointed Master. Mohamed Elleboudy as National Head Coach and Country Representative for the Arab Republic of Egypt.
This appointment recognizes Master. Elleboudy’s dedication to traditional sports development, cultural exchange, and the promotion of traditional physical heritage. As the official INSF representative in Egypt, he will support the Federation’s efforts to expand international cooperation and strengthen cultural connections through traditional sports.
As National Head Coach and Country Representative, Master. Elleboudy will be responsible for coordinating athlete development, instructor education, national team organization, and participation in INSF international programs, seminars, and championships.
Egypt possesses one of the world’s most distinguished cultural legacies and has a long history of physical culture and traditional sporting practices. INSF believes that cooperation with Egyptian coaches, athletes, and cultural communities will contribute to the preservation of traditional heritage and the promotion of international friendship.
INSF President Jun-Ho Song stated:
“Traditional sports represent more than athletic competition; they embody the cultural memory and identity of communities. We are honored to welcome Mr. Mohamed Elleboudy as the official INSF National Head Coach and Country Representative for Egypt and look forward to future cooperation.”
The appointment marks another important step in INSF’s ongoing efforts to establish a global network dedicated to traditional sports, cultural heritage preservation, youth engagement, and international exchange.
