(Reporter Kim Min-jeong)= The International Northern Ssireum Federation (INSF), a global non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and globalization of Northern traditional Ssireum, is proud to announce the official establishment of its Venezuela Cultural Headquarters.
In a landmark move to expand the reach of UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage, the INSF has appointed Master Rodolfo Cárdenas as the Head of the Venezuela Cultural Headquarters. This strategic appointment marks a significant milestone in bridging the traditional wrestling heritage of the Silk Road with contemporary global standards.
“We are honored to have Master Rodolfo Cárdenas lead our efforts in Venezuela,” said Song Jun-ho, President of the INSF. “His deep expertise in traditional warrior culture and commitment to academic research will be instrumental in fostering cultural exchange and documenting the historical values of our shared heritage.”
