World Subak Federation Expands International Network Through Wyoming-Based U.S. Entity

The World Subak Federation (WSF) announced plans to establish a Wyoming-based U.S. entity as part of its ongoing international educational and digital heritage initiatives related to traditional Korean Subak culture.

According to the federation, the planned U.S. structure will function primarily as an international administrative and digital networking platform supporting multilingual educational dissemination, international publications, open-access archiving, and overseas branch coordination.

The federation emphasized that the historical and technical headquarters of Subak preservation activities will remain in Korea through cooperation with the Korea Subak Association, while the U.S.-based entity will focus on global educational outreach and digital infrastructure.

Recent activities connected to the Subak preservation initiative include:
open-access academic archiving,
English-language publications,
international digital preservation projects,
OER educational dissemination,
and participation in international discussions related to cultural preservation and resilience.

The federation stated that the Wyoming-based structure is intended to strengthen international accessibility and improve coordination with overseas educational partners, researchers, and branch organizations.

The organization also noted that international branch registration, educational certification administration, and multilingual educational publication projects are expected to be expanded through the new international network framework.
