[사보] UN SDG 언론사 협약 가입 [Company Magazine] Joins UN SDG Media Pact

(편집부)= 본지에서 UN 사업에 협약 가입됐다.

UN이 국제출판협회(International Publishers Association)와 협력하여 출범한 이 협약은 2030년까지 지속 가능한 개발 목표(SDGs)를 달성하기 위한 진전을 가속화하는 것을 목표로 한다.

서명자들은 (2020-2030) 동안 지속 가능한 관행을 개발하고 SDG의 챔피언으로 활동하기를 열망하며 , 그러한 방향으로 행동을 알리고, 개발하고, 영감을 주는 데 도움이 될 책과 저널을 출판한다.

이에 따라서 한국문화저널은 다음과 같은 유엔의 지침을 준수하게 된다.

Launched by the UN in collaboration with the International Publishers Association, this agreement aims to accelerate progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

The signatories aspire to develop sustainable practices and act as champions of the SDGs during the period of 2020–2030, and they publish books and journals that help promote, develop, and inspire action in that direction.

Accordingly, the Journal of Korean Culture will comply with the following UN guidelines.

​1. SDGs에 대한 약속 : 본 협약 준수를 포함하여 웹 사이트에 지속 가능성 정책 및 목표를 명시합니다. SDG와 그 목표를 적절하게 통합합니다.

2. 평등, 지속 가능성, 정의, 환경 보호 및 강화와 같은 SDGs가 대표하는 주제를 옹호하는 콘텐츠를 적극적으로 홍보하고 획득합니다 .

3. 매년 SDGs 달성 진행 상황을 보고하고 , 데이터를 공유하고, 벤치마킹 활동에 기여하여 모범 사례를 공유하고 여전히 해결해야 할 격차를 식별하도록 돕습니다.

4. 조직 전체에서 SDG 주제를 조정하고 접점 역할을 하면서 SDG 진행을 촉진할 사람을 지명합니다 .

5. SDG 관련 정책 및 목표에 대한 인식을 높이고 2030년까지 SDGs 달성에 도움이 될 프로젝트를 장려하기 위해 직원들 사이에서 SDGs에 대한 인식을 높이고 홍보합니다 .

6. SDG 를 옹호하고 혁신적인 조치와 솔루션이 필요한 분야에서 협력하기 위해 공급업체 사이에서 인식을 높이고 SDG를 홍보합니다 .

7. 마케팅, 웹사이트, 프로모션 및 프로젝트를 통해 SDG 의제를 홍보하고 적극적으로 소통함으로써 고객 및 이해관계자의 옹호자가 됩니다 .

8. 개별적으로 또는 출판 협회를 통해 SDGs의 진행을 진전시킬 프로젝트를 개발, 현지화 및 확장하기 위해 도시, 국가 및 대륙에 걸쳐 다른 서명국 및 조직과 협력합니다 .

9. SDG 전용 프로젝트의 진행을 가속화하고 SDG 원칙을 촉진하기 위해 예산 및 기타 자원을 투입합니다 .

10. 개인 출판사로서 또는 전국 출판사 협회를 통해 최소한 하나의 SDG 목표에 대해 조치를 취하고 매년 진행 상황을 공유합니다.

The signatories of this Agreement pledge the following:

1. Commitment to SDGs: State sustainability policies and goals on the website, including compliance with this Agreement. Appropriately integrate the SDGs and their goals.
2. Actively promote and acquire content that advocates for the themes represented by the SDGs, such as equality, sustainability, justice, and environmental protection and strengthening.
3. Report on progress toward achieving the SDGs annually, share data, and contribute to benchmarking activities to share best practices and help identify gaps that still need to be addressed.
4. Nominate individuals to facilitate SDG progress by coordinating SDG themes across the organization and acting as a point of contact.
5. Raise awareness and promote the SDGs among employees to increase understanding of SDG-related policies and goals and to encourage projects that will help achieve the SDGs by 2030.
6. Raise awareness and promote the SDGs among suppliers to advocate for the SDGs and collaborate in areas requiring innovative measures and solutions.
7. Become an advocate for customers and stakeholders by promoting the SDG agenda and actively communicating through marketing, websites, promotions, and projects.
8. Collaborate with other signatory nations and organizations across cities, countries, and continents to develop, localize, and scale projects that advance the progress of the SDGs, either individually or through a publishing association.
9. Allocate budgets and other resources to accelerate the progress of SDG-dedicated projects and promote SDG principles.
10. Take action toward at least one SDG goal, either as an individual publisher or through a national publishers association, and share progress annually.
