The Korea Cultural Journal, an international media institution dedicated to preserving global physical culture, has officially announced a strategic partnership to support and document the academic and media initiatives of the International Martial Arts Committee (IMAC).
As an official signatory of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Publishers Compact, the Korea Cultural Journal undertakes this collaboration as part of its core mission to advance sustainable cultural development. This joint initiative specifically targets SDG 4 (Quality Education) by developing open educational resources (OER) for traditional physical practices, and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by safeguarding endangered intangible cultural heritage for future generations.
Through this official endorsement, the Korea Cultural Journal will serve as the primary academic archiver and media sponsor for IMAC. The Journal will systematically document IMAC’s martial arts evaluation processes, research publications, and international seminars. These compiled records will be integrated into prestigious global open-access repositories, including Zenodo and OER Commons, establishing a highly credible, peer-reviewed public archive.
