This competition was organized under the auspices of the local cultural headquarters to widely promote the historical value of Northern-style Ssireum in Venezuela and to foster deep cultural bonds with youths in the South American region.
In particular, throughout the main stage, a nail-biting and fierce battle unfolded, and after the players proved their flawless skills, they experienced the thrill of sharing the glory as Co-Champions.
The spirit of traditional martial arts echoing through South America
Eduardo Cárdenas, President of the Venezuelan Cultural Center, commented on the success of this tournament, emphasizing, “It is very meaningful to share the spirit of traditional martial arts in Venezuela, imbued with the vibrant energy of the Caribbean.” He added, “This championship goes beyond a simple sports competition; it has been a precious venue where local youth fostered pride as global martial artists and learned universal human harmony.”.
Celebrating the success of the competition, the local leaders who participated in the event awarded championship certificates certified by the International Northern Wrestling Federation (INSF) to their affiliated athletes.
This has established a solid foundation for a systematic and sustainable training system for global traditional martial arts successors, moving beyond a one-time event.
