The World Subak Federation continues expanding international educational and cultural exchange activities through open educational resources (OER), digital archiving, and participation in international stakeholder dialogue initiatives.
Recently, historical and educational materials related to traditional Korean Subak movement culture were submitted and published through OER Commons, an open educational resource platform used for public educational access and digital archiving.
Published materials include movement education resources such as:
- Jeolguzil: Traditional Korean Breathing and Lower-Body Coordination Training within the Subak Tradition
- Gegeoreum (Crab Walk): Traditional Korean Lateral Movement, Balance Transfer, and Lower-Body Coordination Training
Additional historical video materials and educational resources connected to Korean traditional martial movement culture are currently under educational review and archiving processes.
The organization has also participated in international stakeholder dialogue activities related to cultural sustainability, community knowledge preservation, and open educational exchange. A small case-study contribution concerning open educational preservation of traditional movement knowledge was recently submitted within an international stakeholder discussion document connected to disaster risk reduction and community resilience dialogue initiatives.
According to the federation, the ongoing project focuses on preserving and openly sharing traditional Korean movement knowledge through education, digital archiving, and international cultural exchange.
Future activities are expected to include international webinars, additional English-language educational publications, and expanded open-access educational archives related to Korean traditional movement culture.
