UNESCO-UNEVOC is UNESCO’s international center for technical and vocational education and training (TVET), supporting global educational cooperation, open learning resources, and skills-based education initiatives.

According to the association, the submitted materials focus not only on martial arts techniques, but also on Korean traditional body culture, movement education, and digital heritage preservation.

The submitted resources include:

  • Open educational materials related to traditional Korean martial art Subak
  • Research on Korean body culture and movement systems
  • Analysis of colonial-era archival footage
  • English-language movement education content
  • Digital preservation materials related to Korean physical culture
  • Open-access educational resources for international learning

The Korea Subak Association stated that Subak should be understood not only as a martial practice, but also as part of Korea’s traditional embodied cultural knowledge and movement education heritage.

The organization also noted that it has been expanding its international educational and archival activities through platforms such as OER Commons, SSRN, and other open educational resource networks.
